Pharmaceutical cold storage design is simple construction that need to be executed well. We use Insulated Metal Panels (IMP) (also known as Polyurethane sandwich panels) to construct high R-value cold storage. Achieving the BTU / kW s is down to panel depth selection and executing the development intent correctly.
Panels need to be sealed; in some incidents they need to be gas tight. Thermal breaks need to be in the correct location to prevent Thermal bridging. When you work with the Sub – Zero development team, they will issue drawings with the development intent that will include

High bay Pharmaceutical cold storage requires an added set of skills, certification, health and safety method stamens. Building this type of cold store needs specialist equipment in the from of clad boys and forklifts. MEWP’s with added racking are used to install ceiling panels.
The insulated panels can be up to 14 meters long and 250Kg in weight. Safe controlled lifting and movement is key.

When building large scale partition walls in logistic / warehouses there are additional issues that need to be considered. Due to our changing climate, we have a wider range of weather loadings and high temperatures.
We have developed a system that has been approved by our panel manufactures. This system will allow the structural roof to deflect in the situation where it has been put under load by snow. This system will also allow for changes in temperature as well.
Bespoke steel is required which we can project manage on your behalf.
This was a fire ranted wall. We flashed foamed and sealed the M and E openings. Walls panels where over 14 meters in height.
